Season's Greetings Friends!

It's Marygrace - contributing writer for TeamDiets, here wishing
you a wonderful holiday season!

Please don't tell me that you are dreading it because you are going
to gain 10 or even 15 pounds before it is over! Where's your WILL
POWER?

Is it possible to make it through the holidays and maintain your
present weight or even lose a pound or two? Of course it is! It
may not be easy - as a matter of fact it can be downright HARD to
do! After all, it's the time of the year when family and friends
gather (some whom aren't seen in some time or only during the
holiday season), holiday parties at work, home, with friends,

Dieting through the Holidays - Part 2

THEY'RE BAAAACCCKKKK!

The holidays that is! Each day we draw closer and closer with much more
temptation. And it is not easy when you are determined to lose weight and
have be so dedicated and faithful only to have a dear friend or relative or
two try to persuade you to indulge more than you want. Of course "it's the
holiday", or "but Aunt Mabel made these special just for you - she knows
how much you love them", or "but we are only together at this time of the
year" and yada, yada, yada.

Friends mean well but sometimes they just don't understand. And if you
have been having difficulty trying to lose excess weight or maintain after
the long struggle of dieting, it's not easy.

Season's Greetings Friends!

As the holidays get closer and closer many dieters are now to the
point that they are hoping they end soon! Of course it's not easy
to lose at this time of the year - but remember as I've said in a
previous newsletter - even maintaining your weight at this time of
the year is good.

More parties and family gatherings are taking place now and it will
be like this until the New Year.

Some of us will be trying new recipes or making some tried-and-true
dishes, and some will be trying to find ways to make the
tried-and-true a healthier dish. Which brings me to READING LABELS.
