Why do we have to do a food journal?

Accurately tracking your food and beverage intake is the foundation on rebuilding nutrition and hydration habits to meet your individual needs. It will seem tedious and consuming, at times. But, if used consistently you will have reset your habits in that first month and need it less and less after that first month. Once you have adjusted your portion sizes to your specific needs you will start seeing results in weight, energy, and life performance. After you have 1-2 weeks of accurately recorded and analyzed diet you will be able to start making specific portion adjustments to fit your unique need.
